Capacity Building of Women`s Organizations 2015

Women's Fund in Georgia announces grants competition “Capacity Building of Women's Organizations”.


The grants program aims at institutional strengthening of women's groups and invites organizations, which have clearly established goals, but have limited sources for organizational development.


Grant amount ranges from 1000 to 5000 USD and is provided for applicants organizational development, as well as, for improving their visibility, transparency, financial accountability and infrastructure. Also, for developing leadership and strategic skills of employees/members of women's organizations in different fields: organizational planning, financial management and accountancy, fundraising, evaluation, PR and communication, relationship with media, volunteerism, digital activism and other organizational requirements.


Priorities will be given to:


• Initiatives of young women
• Organizations working in regions

The minimum length of the project is 6 months; the maximum length is 8 months.


Women's Fund in Georgia will conduct consultation meetings for grant-seekers at Funds office (every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm-5:00 pm), from 16 October till 7 November.


The deadline for proposal submission (one printed copy or handwritten copy in Georgian or in Russian) is 10 November, 2015. Final decision about award will be known before the end of December, 2015.
