Project description:project aims to lobby and advocate the ecological issues which the community of Dedoplitskaro faces: these are problems with clean water, problems with the local lake which is drying out and issues regarding the illegal cutting of forests in Shiraki field that are wind protectors. The project aims to monitor abovementioned issues and lobby to the local government to change the legislation and made decisions in resolving the problems in Dedoplitskaro.
2. Applicant: Young Georgian Greens
Project title:Gender aspects of eco-migration

Project description:The aim of the project is to research the gender aspects of eco-migration and raise awareness of eco-migration through identifying the needs of eco-migrants, involving feminist and green activists for spreading the information, and creating blog posts, series of photos and a short film on the topic that will be screened at the presentation of the abovementioned research study. Project also aims to analyze existing legislation regarding eco-migration.

Project description:The project aims to raise awareness on environmental justice and womens rights among youth by running a Camp for Girls that will provide workshops and seminars on gender and climate issues. The participants will be tasked to use the acquired knowledge and skill by carrying out various activities within their peers in their own communities.

Project title:Clean environment is our right, protecting it - is our duty!
Region: Imereti, Kharagauli
Duration: 7 months

Project description:The aim of the project is to involve more local women around recycling issue and to lobby on a local level to create an effective system for collecting garbage. In order to do so, womens groups will be formed in Kharagauli municipality that will work on recycling issues with the head of local villages and with local communities.
5. Applicant: Initiative Group – Women for saving the nature and for environmental justice
Project title:Save the environment and it will save our future!
Region: Samtskhe-Javakheti, Borjomi, Akhaldaba
Duration: 6 months

Project description:The aim of the project is to raise awareness on ecological issues and natural resources in the regions that faces deforestation. Also project will advocate for involving more women in decision making processes regarding environmental and ecological issues. Within the project, so called monitoring group will be formed that will work to reveal the cases of illegally cutting down the trees and that will further follow up on the matter.
6. Applicant: Center for Civic Activism and Equality
Project title:Women for Clean Environment
Region: Samegrelo, Zugdidi
Duration: 6 months
Grant amount:3000 Euros
Project description:The project will lobby and advocate issues affecting community members of Zugdidi municipality and surrounding villages through advocacy, awareness raising and media campaigns. The issues that the group will lobby to the local government officials are related to ecological concerns, namely organizing system of garbage collection, recycling, waste management, etc.
