Project Title: Developing Women's Business Opportunities

The aim of the project is to support the economic development of women entrepreneurs in the Imereti region. The objectives to achieve the aim are: development of the economic thinking and managerial skills of female entrepreneurs; acquisition and deepening of business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills among young people; raising public awareness about the importance of developing women's business opportunities. The target group of the project is women entrepreneurs and young people living in the Imereti region who are interested in acquiring entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

 

2. Applicant: Education and Development Center "Edelweiss" (Tamar Ugulava, Nazi Jikia)

Project Title: Leader Women's School

Region: Imereti, Khoni

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to develop appropriate skills for economic, political and social involvement of girls aged 15 to 30, living in Khoni through education and awareness raising.

 

3. Applicant: Women with Disabilities for Equality (Tinatin Gelkhviidze)

Project Title: Women with Disabilities for Gender Equality

Region: Imereti, Kutaisi

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to develop the movement of women with disabilities in the Imereti region, to encourage their political participation and to raise awareness about gender equality. Within the framework of the project, they will conduct educational trainings / seminars, cooperate with the local Gender Equality Council. The target group is women and girls with disabilities living in the Imereti region, their parents or guardians, as well as young women from independent feminist groups and non-governmental organizations, working on gender equality issues.

 

4. Applicant: Bright Future (Marika Vacharadze)

Project Title: Awareness of Refugee and Eco-Migrant Women for Rights and Decent Work

Region: Imereti, Kutaisi

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to inform  refugee and eco-migrant women about labor rights, to raise their awareness about gender equality and strengthen their skills. The activities planned for the project realization are: conducting trainings; information / PR promotions; preparation of media programs (2 TV and 1 radio).

5. Applicant: Georgian Civil Development Association (Tamar Mumladze)

Project Title: A Strong Woman for Change and Development

Region: Kakheti, Lagodekhi

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to involve rural women in Lagodekhi Municipality in the process of formation and implementation of local policies by their empowering and providing them with new skills.

6. Applicant: Karajala Community Center (Leila Balashvili)

Project Title: Strong Women - Strong Community

Region: Kakheti, Telavi, village Ruispiri

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to raise the awareness of women aged 18 to 40, living in the community of Karajala village and increase their involvement in civic life. The objectives for achieving of the mentioned goal are: to raise the awareness of women living in the Karajala community on gender issues and on-the-job employment opportunities through trainings and meetings; gaining knowledge about women's issues and existing services / programs and collaborating with governmental and non-governmental organizations; a social campaign for the empowerment of women.

 

7. Applicant: Jokolo Community Center (Lia Kavtarashvili)

Project Title: Economic Empowerment of Women of the Pankisi Valley and Support of Their Integration

Region: Kakheti, Pankisi Valley, village Jokolo

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to economically empower women, living in the Pankisi Gorge and to promote their integration with both Georgian women and society in general. The objectives of the project are: to disseminate information about the project and its opportunities to the population of Pankisi Valley through working groups; to develop different skills of female entrepreneurs, living in Pankisi or future entrepreneurs for maximum realization of the produced products / services; make women entrepreneurs more recognizable for improving their economic situation; ensure maximum involvement of mixed groups (Georgian and ethnic Kisti women) in the project activities to support their integration.

 

8. Applicant: Social Development Association (Nanuli Tedeshvili, Ana Liparteliani)

Project Title: Young People for Changes of the Future

Region: Kakheti, Akhmeta

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to raise awareness of young people living in the Pankisi Gorge and Akhmeta through trainings and seminars on women's rights and gender equality; also, promoting the integration of Kisti and Georgian youth by involvement in joint activities.

9. Applicant: Racha Development Support Fund "Edena" (Lili Maisuradze)

Project Title: "Edena Girls" Solidarity to Women, Who Lost Motivation

Region: Racha, Oni

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to make the beneficiary women, selected by the project, prepare a specific employment package, based on their already experienced platform and practice by their participation and involvement. It involves learning and creating one entrepreneurial product for each woman based on a specially selected training course that will be marketable and in demand in the local and external markets. The target audience is women in need of employment living in Oni Municipality.

 

10. Applicant: Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Self-Government Resource Center (Nino Sokhadze)

Project Title: Increase of Opportunities of Racha Women Civic Groups

Region: Racha, Ambrolauri

Project duration: 6 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to encourage active women, living in Racha, to develop the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and skills through training, to be actively involved in the decision-making process at the local level through the use of civic envolvement mechanisms.

11. Applicant: “Nasa”(Lily Makharashvili)

Project Title: Equality for a Strong Community

Region: Guria, Ozurgeti

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to increase the awareness of the population of the village of Askani and Mziani of Ozurgeti Municipality on gender equality issues; also, to increase the self-esteem of women and girls at the expense of acquiring practical skills and knowledge. The activities planned within the project frames are: conducting educational lectures; showing and reviewing films; arranging cognitive tours and meeting of project participants with local self-government representatives.

 

12. Applicant: Curie’s Lab (Marika Tsintsadze)

Project Title: Ambassadors of Science

Region: Guria, Lanchkhuti

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to interest and empower girls in the STEM direction. Within the framework of the project, 10 girls living in Guria, Racha and Imerti will become science ambassadors who will arouse the interest of the school girls, living in their villages, in STEM subjects.

 

13. Applicant: Vector of Progress (Marina Nutsubidze)

Project Title: Girls' Voices

Region: Guria, Lanchkhuti

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to empower rural girls in Lanchkhuti Municipality, including girls with disabilities, through an educational program and to train them as community activists. In addition, community clubs will be formed to work on advocacy issue in the frames of the project.

 

14. Applicant: Center for Participation and Involvement "CPC" (Nana Tavdumadze)

Project Title: Strengthening the Economic Capacities of Women of Different Nationalities in Ozurgeti – Let’s Turn Housework into a Profession

Region: Guria, Ozurgeti

Project duration: 10 months

Requested amount: 8000 Euros

The aim of the project is to study the economic development needs of women of different nationalities, living in Ozurgeti Municipality, eco-migrants from the mountainous region of Adjara, repatriate Muslim Meskhetian women, women from the Armenian community and the Georgian-Polish diaspora, to support their economic empowerment and civic integration.
